6 Song EP in the Works

Last week we started recording a six song ep to hopefully be released sometime in the next couple months. Unlike Phantom Moon which had multiple drummers and other guest musicians filling in, this record at its core will be made with the live band I have been playing shows with for the last year and some (Barry Smith – bass, Mac Walker – guitar, Josh Adkins – drums). At this time we are nearly half way through the tracking process. I’ll try and post more updates on the recording in the coming weeks…

CHUM / Headhunter t-shirt

We had a few shirts left over that we had printed up for the Chum reunion shows in Lexington and Huntington earlier this month. The leftovers are now available on the Store page for a limited time. At the time of this post there are a few t-shirts, ladies tees, and hooded sweatshirts. They won’t last too long though, so grab one quick!!

Chum has a few things that are up and coming. The main thing is that we have scheduled two “reunion” gigs in the month of October. Those dates are the following:

October 1, 2011
V Club
Huntington, WV
w/Tower of the Elephant and Horseburner

October 8, 2011
The Attic
Lexington, KY
w/Lucid Grey, A Thousand Times No, and August and Anger

In addition to these shows, we have recorded an old song that we had originally written around ’97 or so that was intended for our second full length release that never happened. The track is called “Headhunter”, and can be streamed below. We are also offering the track as a free download on our Facebook page.

Mission Coalition: September 9-10

Coming up on September 9th and 10th at The Sound Factory in Charleston, WV is Mission Coalition. Mission Coalition is a 2 day hard/heavy music festival which will be headlined by The Suede Brothers on Friday the 9th, and Karma to Burn on Saturday the 10th. We are scheduled to play on the 10th.
